Dear DTangled Blog,
The big belt-short dress look has been popular for a year or two. At a pre-party I recently over heard a young woman in one of these short dresses lament her lack of large belt to hide her belly, which she feared would grow to second trimester proportions by the end of dinner. Is the primary function of these belts to act as a stylish accessory or to hide those last 4 lbs of mid section fat that just won’t come off?
very funny, mattie.
but seriously, your question raises an important point. the paths of style and function cross more often than you would think. take, for example, garters, Rolex watches, trenchcoats, and the beer helmet.
super ,j’ai passé un bon tres long moment,
tres bien fait …. j’ai adoré la partie desing
BRAVO

Hey, Quick question, I have been dying to know where that madonna poster wall is in nyc? im not sure if its still up but I see you know where it is, I would love to know where it is!
it was on the corner of 13th street and 9th avenue, next to pastis and an old garage on the west side of the street. the building was abandoned and always covered in super cool art. now that entire building is covered in scaffold and they are building a sephora there!! ironic.
