Please be patient as this site is under maintenance. Just kidding… I have been working on a super post of epic proportions .. And working .. And having, in general, a GOT (grand old time). Visit me later.

Got my DP fill tonight and this video is speaking to me; specifically, as a twisted interpretation of Brave New World. Mass-produced biology. Alphas getting their dose of hypnopaedic wisdom; I even see a stunted dark Epsilon in there. Must remember to investigate all Daft Punk videos for the existence of dystopian worlds and develop this idea further.
I have embarked on a mission to re-read all these classics I read as a kid and I’m discovering incredible meaning I missed the first time around (or was too young to understand). Neurons firing and whatnot. It’s all very interesting/stimulating. Started with Jane Eyre and just finished the above — maybe next Gone With the Wind? The Jungle? I’m taking suggestions.

coincidence?
Tonight on my way to a gallery opening I found $100 in a slushy puddle. Then when I got home I randomly came across this article. Coincidence? Or am I just lucky?

never a dull moment in brooklyn
Today I noticed this article on Daily Intel concerning the arrival and proliferation of stinkbugs in Brooklyn. Also today, when I left my apartment for the first time at 4 PM, I noticed this:
Brokelyn is falling apart! I was actually just wondering to myself the other day as I was mounting the creaky stairs of my brownstone when the staircase would meet its demise. But Brooklyn is not all bad. MM is moving to the hood today. And I found a copy of Zorba the Greek on the sidewalk. Life is good!
